Pachapanamthathe
Here is a highly popular and melodious song..such refeshing songs brings us back to Malayalam songs nowadays, evoking images of the serene and picturesque villages of Kerala, the sounds, romance in the air and a sense of nostalgia..composed by one of talented music directors among the current crop, M Jayachandran, lets hope his songs will come close to filling the void left by the loss of the great Raveendran master..i read somewhere that there is an original to this song, composed by the legendary Baburaj (havent heard it yet) and that Jayachandran reworked this tune..anyways, enjoy this lilting song..and EID Mubarak!

Hey, I listened to your first song(woh pehli bar) and thought you were a north Indian - very good hindi.
Anways, this one, I have never heard the original. You have sung well.
Shabs - thnks! yea, 'Chembakame' will be liked by people who have only heard often before (it appealed better with the video too) and its kind of an unconventional mallu song..yea, it can be categorized as 'soft rock' :)

This is one of my all time favorite songs. But I have a confession to make.... I have only been reading through the blog and not listening to any of the songs (my personal laptop died on me last week and the work laptop is not playing songs :-(). So wish I could say your singing is great, but all I can say for now is that you write rather well :-)
