Paas Aaya Kyon...

Here is a very soulful song from a recent movie called 'Aggar'...from the team of Mithoon and Sayed Qadri that delivered popular hits in movie albums of 'Anwar', 'Bas Ek Pal', 'The Train'...i heard it for the first time after my friend Sachin requested this song (thnks a lot man for making me aware of this song), it was an impressive song, with a unique feel to it, its melodic music arrangements coupled with “lounge” effects that creates a serene and tranquil feel , meaningful lyrics, soothing vocals (especially the female vocals, that adds an icy-chill, haunting feel to the song)..its the kind of song that grows on you with repeated listening, and evokes the tenderness of painful love..incidentally, the feelings and emotions required in the song was inspired by a certain Laila..hence, in addition to my buddy Sachin, who requested the song, i would also like to dedicate the following lines of the song to the Laila -

"Kyun Ajnabi Ki Tarah Humse Pesh Aata Hai
Chand Lamhe Bhi Hamein Tu Na De Paata Hai
Aisi Kya Hamne Ki Khata, Hame Sataaya Kyun.."

Hope you enjoy the song, and do let me know if you think the Laila will take notice ;)

Movie: Aggar (2007)

Lyrics: Sayeed Qadri
Original Artists: Mithoon, Sharmishta

Muhaseen...sachin send me your blog link and asked to check it out couple of weeks back!!...i was with him this weekend and he checked with me again...the first thing i did after coming back to dubai was to check your song and let me tell you brother i am proud of you...fantastic effort..you have improved leaps and bounds since i heard you last time years ago during achans 60th bday celebration at changanacherry...

I dont know whether sachin has told you that i have a similar passion for singing and currently hold around 1000 karaoke songs (all languages)!! you let me know if you need any karaoke..i will email them to you...i would also like you to sing some more numbers which would suit your voice...i will email the karaokes to you..

For a start why dont you try the song "Beetai lamhein" from Train? if you are interested i can sent you the karaoke. Also try to sing the song "June ponal" from "Unnalae Unnale" tamil film...check out "Manjal veyil" from "vettayadu vilayadu"....let me know which one you like. how is life in US? When will you decide on Mrs.Muhaseen????!! my email address is dubnair@gmail.com ...keep in touch...keep it going....aji chettan

K don't compare Mithoon's and Atif's voice.. I would consider that as an insult to my atif aslam... hmph!! Atif is THE best!!
